I was cheap and did it to mine. You just have to get the lens unattached from the housing, using a heat gun will work wonders. Once apart the yellow plastic lens just pops out. Use silicon and seal it make up nice and tight so no moisture gets in. Bam, instant clear corners.

No sorry, I don't know of any sites off hand. I had just heard about it being done and experimented on my car.

Is it legal to replace the amber with a different color? I've seen red turn signlas on those teg's... the older versions though. It hink it would be nice to replace them with blue or green maybe. I think I've seen green bulbs replaced in a truck (go i hate trucks and i dont know why), so I'm curious.

front turn signals must be either white or amber. Any other color will get you pulled over, and blue or red is considered impersonation of a police officer.

Dkshadow: Your signals might prove more difficult to clear since i think the mustangs of your era have one piece headlights. This site might be able to help you out though

Woah that's one crazy method (quite simple but still crazy).

I've always wanted to painte the housing that seperates the turn signal and the headlamps to mathc the body color (the forest green from 2000). Would be a nice touch even with the amber in place.

thx man

the oven method is by far the best way to do it ... just keep an eye on it and dont leave while its in there ... thats where most of the horror stories of people melting their headlights come from.

If you are too much of a chicken to do the oven, a hairdryer also works, but takes a LOT longer to get the silicone soft.
