Help with my Tachometer`

On my console, the tach needle is going crazy...even on idle. It's also going into redline even if I just give it a little bit of gas....HELP

yes the ignitor was recalled....some were replaced and some weren't...most weren't...call a local dealer for info...i think the ones who weren't replaced were brown or something...someone back me up on this one...also check your tach connection/cable in the back of your cluster....

When me and a friend went to the track to race his 90 CRX , his car started kinda cutting out at high RPMS and we didnt know what it was...Then his tach started jumping up and down. We threw a new distributor on and the bouncing tach and cutting out was fixed.
