i got a few ideas, first you can lose the dead wieght like this guy did - http://www57.pair.com/lane/p92-wgt1.htm
i think he went a little to far though.

second - intake - try http://www.spswebpage.com/
SPS has just about everything you need. all their intakes are under $300(K/N filter for under $50) they also have: sway bar, tower braces, spark plugs and wires, springs, brakes, motor mounts, and an alternator for under $300.

last make sure your car is in tip top shape( for one, check under the front, there should be a long plastic airdam. make sure its there and on right. lots of people brake it or knock it out of place by parking and hiting the thing the curb. if its not in just the right place you won't get enoff air and you'll overheat. i've had to fix mine countless times)

That is so damn true about that airdamn......when I got my turbo put on they removed the thing and I was wondering why my car kept overheating......that was the reason......Good Advice!!!!!!!
