Yes the 88-91 Civic/CRX Header works well.

Also don't buy Pacesetter anything, its all shit. I'm sure even their plastic parts rust up.

The alternative to port matching is to buy the top half of an 89 Integra two-piece header, and the bottom half of a 91 Civic/CRX header to get the collector to match your exhaust...but that is pretty hard to do so most people just port match the Civic header to the ZC head...use the 89 Integra exhaust manifold gasket to port-match your Civic header

I tried using an 89 Integra DC Sports Header on my car, it was like 6'' too long on the part that attaches to the Cat. Definitely won't fit our cars.

Ok ... someone needs to figure out ACTUAL specs on the d16a6 ... because from what ive heard about this engine, it puts out 118hp while the a6 only puts out 108.

well from what i can tell, which is from experience of dissasembling d16a6 and SOHC ZC engines, the pistons are the same, the head ports appear identical. Just as the SOHC ZC VTEC is the same as the USDM D16Z6, the SOHC ZC is the same engine as the USDM D16A6. There may be a slight difference in the cam design, but i am willing to bet that there isnt.

Supposedly, the 89 Integra header matches the exhaust ports on a dohc ZC. I don't have personal experience with this, just research. The issues with using the Integra header are that it is too long to meet up with the Civic exhaust, as FourthGenHatch mentioned. It seems he had problems getting his Integra header to mate up with the Civic exhaust...I am curious if that was using a full 89 Integra header (1 or 2 piece), or mixing the Integra top-half with a (shorter??) Civic bottom piece?? - I personally would not buy two complete 2-piece header sets at $300+ each, and then use one-half of each set...which I think is why most people port match the Civic header.

I personally have a cheap Chikara port-matched Civic header with the Integra exhaust gasket - it seems to line up fine
