GTR #27R - it ended its racing life painted that way. I don't believe it's been converted for road use.

It raced under a few liveries, but the final one was the AM Racing/Veuve Clicquot team that raced in the British GT series. You've also seen this car wearing Parabolica logos.

This car was apparently not well maintained and sold for a very low price at auction a while back. It also didn't have the greatest racing history.

This car has been offered for sale numerous times during the last six years. It was rebuilt for street use by a shop in France and originally included numerous spares. But it retained the carbon racing brakes and the "conversion" work for street use was poorly done. Somewhere I have a letter and pictures of the car showing various spares and listing the conversion work.

tvrfreak has a point. quoting was ment to be a help when you answer a question or want to reply on something that isn't general knowledge. i mean with that, that you normally quote something when it isn't on the same page, or it isn't on the website or something like that. you on the other hand quote anything your replying to. it's perfectly clear in most matters that you're replying to things that are about 1 post above yours. it irritates some people, and that couldn't be your intention. You know a great deal on McLarens, but in this way, some people just get annoyed of your posts, instead of gaining on wisdom. so please try not to, only use it when it's on another website or another thread. it would save a lot of irritation, and you'd be taken a lot more serious. in that prospective, i'd delete the post you made.

kind regards

maarten
