Rabbit GTI

A couple days ago, somebody parked a red Rabbit GTI down near the end of my driveway and put up some "For Sale" signs on it.
Anybody have opinions on this model? It's a 1984 and has no serious rust at all, though the plastic grille is cracked apart near the right headlight. The windows have been tinted and it includes a roof rack, appears to have been owned by some sort of Hippy/Snowboarder judging by the stickers in the windows.
I didn't get a clear view of the odometer, but it looks like it has 135,000 miles on it and the seller is asking $900. Is it even worth my time to call for a test drive?

thanks.

$900 isnt too bad of a price. The odometer is probably broken seeing as how most of the "130,000 mile" rabbit's I've had have all suffered the same syndrome. Take it for a drive, I'm sure you'll like it. It's like a yugo but quicker and better handling.
