window on 328

Driver window on my 328 convertible would only go up 3/4 way. Then Stopped altogether. Now very difficult to close door on take down top. Took the vehicle to dealer. Dealer wants $650 to replace the window motor and regulator. Seems steep for car with 60,000 miles. How did you come out with your similar problem.

Re: window on 3series convertible

There is a switch on the door handle that is tied to the general module.
