Compression Ratio Question
How much power does one point of increased compression make. Like if you take a motor with a C.R. of 9.5:1 and increase it to 9.6:1, how much of a gain is it? Thanks.

not much, if anything at all.
if you do a drastic increase like 9.5:1 - 11.0:1 then you will see a pretty decent gain.

its more of a ratio , if you have 2 cars with the same compression but one makes more horespower than the other if you bump the compression up on both you will get diffrent gains . if im not mistaken you cant get +.1 compression pistions it goes by .5
