Please help, tried every thing, 1999 Grand prix trouble
Okay heres the deal, a friend of mines car died. Whats wrong with it is we cannot find the PCM (power control module) and we have taken it every where, and still no luck. what we need to know is where could it possibly be, outside of the conventional place, is there another place it could be. what i mean is that we know where it should be, but its not there, so we need to know other alternative places to look. its a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix. Please, help, it will be gladly appreciated.

We are talking about the car's computer rigth??
I dont know where else it could be, when I installed my CAI I removed the pcm from the airbox and the wires and connectors didnt seem to be long enough or have enough slack to put the pcm anywhere but under the airbox/CAI. |

It is in the air box!! You cannopt see it by remove the air filter but there is a removable panel on the air box remove the cover and the PCM is underneath it.

hey if the car is not working maybe someone stole the PCM because that its only place u can find it is inside the Airbox its been like that since they came of with the new design and GM has kept it that way from 97-03. so take the airbox appart and look for lots of cables
