Need help fitting in turbo

What turbo motor will fit in my 1995 civic dx with out getting rid of my AC? I only want to run 10-12 psi so do I need to get a big turbo so it isn't being pushed to the max?

ONLY 10-12 PSI? What kind of engine do you have in there? My Accord's compression without upgrades will only allow about 8 PSI. And those engines are bigger than civics.
Either way, for that much boost, you should get a T3/T04 hybrid or just a T3.

I don't have it installed yet but I will have my uncle build up my internals first.

Damn, that's cool. My uncle knows a lot about this stuff too....only he lives about 3000 miles away.
Are you getting a new kit, or are you doing the Frankenstein method of one part at a time?

I'm too impatient for the piece by peice thing. I will be going custom because when you buy a kit all you're pay'n for is the tubing. Exhaust tubing cost $6 for 1.5 ft. The tubing in a kit cost about $500-$1500.

That's pretty cheap....but what material is it made out of? I got my stuff on eBay...used, but still useful. It's so much better to learn all of this yourself and buy things one at a time. Takes awhile, but you save a lot.

That's because the motor in your Accord has either higher compression or requires more fuel components to run more boost.

A T3 is nice, but look at a smaller one like a T25 off a DSM, a Greddy kit (I get them REALLY cheap), or the new Edelbrock kit.

A custom kit will save you money in the long run, but it will take a LOT more time to piece eveyrthing together. You'll also need to do a bunch of fuel mods for that amount of boost, so save your money up. You could run a conservative 8psi with an FMU on stock injectors, FMIC, and missing link. Other than that, I would stay at 7psi and below.

For the compression to run, say, 13, I'll need a new head gasket and new ignition system (which I just got).
But, yes, for 8 PSI...I already have the FMU and missing link.
I like the T3...plus it's the only flange that fits a turbo manifold for an Accord. When I need more boost, I'll switch and go custom I guess.

If you have a T3, you should be good up to at least 15psi. You just need to address your fuel system and timing.

Would the t25 or the t3 be my best net if I only want to boost to 10-12 psi?

Which has spools up faster?

Are either of them small enough to fit in a civic with A/C?

Do Drag turbo manifolds suck like everybody says or did a few people push their stuff too hard and theirs happened to break?

The T25 is a very small turbo but it should be able to do 10-12 PSI, not much more. The T3 is good for about 21 PSI. Of course the T3 will take longer to spool but it will hold the boost all the way to redline. I am a big fan of the T3 turbo, but Sleeper has a good point, the new GT-25 would be a great turbo for your car.

Also, at that amount of boost you may also want to get an intercooler.

I don't want to push my turbo to it's limits and cause it to break sooner than expected. Is the gt-25 the same as the t25? Who is it made by garrett?

It's not the same, but it might be close. I don't think the T25 was ball bearing or had the same trim specs as the GT model. The GT might also have a larger intake housing, but I haven't compared the two.

if you are not on a budget get a t3/t4, a t3 spools allot faster than a t3/t4 but you'll see more gains with the t3/t4. And you'll be fine boosting on 10-12 IF THE TUNNING IS DONE RIGHT. and even better if you cna fford it, I would sugest you get a standalone ie Hondata, FAST, AEM EMS or something alone those lines.
