Best P11 H3 Hyper White Fog Lights to Get????

Yo I've been through like three pairs of hyper white fog lights so far. None are even near real hyper white. I have a '02 g20. H3 bulbs for fog lights. Anyone have any suggestions to good quality and real hyper white output bulbs????

1 Word -> PIAA

there is truly no one aftermarket bulb that won't burn out on you after a while. PIAA would be the best brand to go with when it comes to lighting. They are expensive but are definately worth the money.

Yeh that's what I was thinking too. I always used to use Piaa. But the only thing is that my friend just got PIAA fogliths on his BMW and they don't look white at all so I was kind of concerned. Do you know if they will come out really hyper white? That's what I"m looking for.

Yo Kenchan how do you like your Arospeed muffler? Does it have the dual outlet that turns up or is it the one that comes straight out? I wanted the 3" dual outlet one that turns upwards but don't know if it'll fit in that slot on the back of the car well?

Let me know how you like your muffler

hey dude, just go for the HID system. If the lights are that important to you, just go for HID.

Well I'm getting the HIDs...but I want my foglights to match my headlight color. Its not the output of light that I"m worried about its just the color.

hi dude, about the arospeed... i use the square dual outlet (straight out) that looks like remus exhaust. they work pretty well for hi rpm, but lost a lot of torque in the low's (mines an AT). the tone is pretty cool not loud, just low pitch and not annoying.

i think they call it DTM style, the ones you're talking about.

go for the H.I.D, i just got them installed yesterday, you dont need foglight with that. Save yourself 50 bucks from the fog and spend on the H.I.D., go for the H.I.D of higher kelvin rating, i have the 7000K...sit to a BMW and Lexus HID, still brighter and whiter than them

Even if he did get the HID's, he's still saying he wants a bulb on his fogs that would match the intensity and color of the HID's. If I had HID's, I'd still run my fogs - it just looks better to have the fogs running all the time.

h3 white

i have the same problem i went through like 3 pair in 2 months. piaa are the best but i got these xenon super whites that have been lasting for a while now. but i was just wondering if when installing the fog lamp does anyone run into a problem making them fit. all the aftermarket ones i buy never fit right. you guys know the ring thats just below the bulb which has those groves in it to fit into place. well the aftermarket ones are always smaller. i always have to trim that metal plate to make them fit. does anyone know what i'm talking about?

Yo I totally know where you're coming from. The aftermarket bulbs I get are never quite the exact size. I just shove them in there. Maybe that's why mine blow out all the time. Oh well ... I'll just shave them down next time and I gotta make sure to get the piaas.

I want foglights (even though I'm getting HID) because it just looks pretty damn dope with HIDs and white foglights that look like HID. I don't care about intensity of the foglights . . .like Napakapa said...I wouldn't need foglights but they just look good.

But thanx for all your advice guys.

poppy, i got my H.I.D. from a guy in SF for 550, you might wonder why is it so expensive, it one with low and high beam, so you dont lose that high beam feature...plus they are the first one out with the 7000k...most H.I.D you see are like 4300-5000k, those are like Lexus and stuff, and i knwo that Audi is like a 6000k, that is why they do look better and brighter than the Acura's...so if anyone of you are interested, email me, i can ship them to you guys for like 570 or whatever...they are so cool to have, i just took some picture, i will try to post them soon

i still have my foglight on now, i mean still helps on that closest part and plus it looks better, but i doubt that an aftermarket bulb will help

When you guys are installing them, are you making sure not to touch the bulb? If you do, even a little, the oil from your fingers will burn them out really quick.
Just sounds like what's happening. Mine have been going for over a year now.
