Turbocharging a Maxima

Does anyone know af a company that manufactures a turbocharger and intercooler for a 99 max? Also, has anyone here bought a Random technology high flow catalytic converter or stillen products such as CAI Y and B-pipes, supercharger, underdrive pulley etc. What i'm tryin to say is that is Stillen a reliable company for performance parts for the max or should i go to Cattman performance? I'm going to get my bro's 99 max in the near future and was wondering what is the best bagn for buck or where should i start in performance modifications for his car?

Start with the Y-Pipe if you're looking for NA power and from what I know of Cattman, they are every bit as reliable as Stealin (Stillen) and the prices are much cheaper.

If you're into Turbocharging go to www.turbomaxima.com maybe you could get some ideas from them. Good luck and hope to see you with a Maxima soon.

There was a BIG thread on www.maxima.org a while back about the craftsmanship and reliability of Hal's kit. Check with the boy's that have his kit over there before you make a decision.

when you get a turbo don't you have to repace the pistons, wires etc. since the engine has to run at a different compression ratio?
