Question any reason why I cant ...

...get a conversion harness from HAS for (dx to 92-95 d16z6) and just use the 92-95 ex ecu instead of getting an rpm activated switch? Am I missing something?

tranny? your car is cable - the 92-95 is hydro. Not sure the splines match up, which means you need to swap em... not worth it.

...didnt see any mention of a tranny in his post, so... anyway, there's no reason they cant do that, but I'm afraid it'll cost you an arm and maybe two legs.. and take them awhile.... did you get a price yet?

hit up jason at [email protected] and see if he still makes harnesses, I know he used to do some dx - OBD1 piggyback harnesses...

well... an 88-91 tranny is the only way to do it as the 92-95's dont bolt into the chassis anyway... I dont think the ecu has anything to do with tranny operation in obd0 cars.... but this has always been a problem area and I've never actually spoken with anyone who has actually completed a swap like this with an auto tranny, so....
