Go to www.edmunds.com and look at the used cars. Find the model you're looking for and click on the specs button. I think thats what it is but i'm not sure, you shouldn't have any trouble finding it.

From what i know it's a reliable and definately fun car to drive, as for beating a mustang or camaro, do a lil bit of modding before you try. As far as the BMW 3-Series, i haven't had any experience with it, and as for the civic, if they're both stock you have a pretty good chance. As for modded cars, it's all about the money and time you put into your car in the end, and that's the beauty of car tuning (ok, tried to sound wise)

Talking

RS and GS have 140hp, gst and gsx have 210, I wouldnt buy an eclipse that isnt a Gst or GSX. Spend a 1000 bucks in mods and you'll be killin mustang V8's and Z28's in no time. Civics arent even worthy unless they are modded too. 3 series I dunno about. I think eclipses are safe and reliable. And YES fun to drive.

Hey, on the same note, since im sure both him and I would like to know, the GS-T is turbo and the GSX is turbo and AWD, right? Are there any other differences?

Both are turbo, GSX is AWD. GSX is also harder to find. GSX's also are know for some transmission problems once they are heavily modded. But still if I had a choice I would go with a GSX, I have a GST and it is hard to get traction with all the HP in a FWD car.

I have less than $200 worth of mods to my GST, and only one of them is related to any hp (my MBC); the rest are just supporting mods... and with a borrowed pair of Nittos, I ran consistant low 14s, and even got a 13.9 run by the end of the season

This year I'll get a little more serious and we'll see what she can do

GST= FWD turbo
GSX= AWD turbo

For the Eclipse, this is the only way it works. For the Talons, you have to make sure you look for the AWD stickers on the car, b/c the TSi could be either.

Not really. Basic bolt-on mods only. Just got it not too long ago but driven them before.
