Need new tires....bad.
I have to get new tires for my stock 14's. What would be a good tire to get, something I can still use in the winter, but still get some performance during the nice months? I was thinking of some Bridgestone Potenza RE92s, but I don't know if they'll be good on the crappy, salt-dirt-ice roads. Please help!!

What's up sideshowrich,
I personally like the BS potenza (& yokohama...especially if your just going to be putting it on the factory rim) but I think the BSP would be better suited for your area...I forgot to look but I'm imagining if you have snow, you prob. have a hill/mountain or two...myself, I am unfamiliar with your area (sidebar: Tampa, FL). I believe jackasssi had a good suggestion with www.tirerack.com but I would also like to mention some good, un-bias sites: www.road&track.com www.car&driver.com These should give you a bit more information in your search for a better tire. Hope this helps.... ![]() CL |
