Cool '32 Ford Highboy

This is a Lincoln Mint die-cast(yes, yes I know...) I assembled a couple of months back.Although it is a good looking model, there were a few things that bothered me( besides the fact it's metal!!). I replaced the plug wires and distributer with a scratchbuilt dist. and wires, replaced the large kit headlights with the small headlights from the Revell '32 Coupe, hand cut the windsheild from clear acetate, scratchbuilt a new blower belt out of layered masking tape, and ground down the attachment points on the front axle to give it that aggressive rake. The rest of it is out of the box.

Enjoy....

Yeah, except this is a diecast kit which falls under model kits, the diecast forum is generally those pre-built things....
Should I post the white metal kit I have under diecast too? I don't think so considering it is a model kit made of metal.

Nice effort on the '32 Sidewinder
