Changing My interior

Hey everyone... Work on the interior conversion has begun! I removed all of my stone beige leather interior and am now working on geting the entire black leather interior in there! I took the dash out last night andeverything seems to be running smoothly. At first I was considering replacing all the pannels with black ones... but turns out that vinyl paint cmes out much much cleaner, and makes it look newer. So now im just waiting on seatbelts to arrive from miller infiniti and for the paint to be made (matched to the oem interior black on all g20's). I also discovered that the Black Dash I had purchased from Foreign Auto Salvage (the place with the wrcked g20) was busted!! fuck what a waste of money and shipping charges. Looks liek im gonna have to get that painted as well.. So far all I've managed to install is the carpetting. I'll keep you guys posted as soon as I receive the seatbelts + paint and i've made for progess. For now all I can do is sit here and wait...

P.S. All your comments and suggestions are very very appreciated!

It looks good so far. I think black interior looks much better than beige.

Looks like your going for the weight saving rallycar look. Seriously, I think a black car should have a black interior. I wish car companies would let you chose both colors and not have one based on the other.

I spent approx 800 dollars on the entire project... that including the cost of shipping the seats. I dont think thats too bad if I could sell my seats alone for about 1500.

You dont need to take out the windsheild to take out the dash, just the all the pannels associated with the dash.

Today I discovered the seatbelts I thought werent working actually work perfectly. I didnt hesitate for ones second, heres pics ofthe installed back seats:

Nice work man. I am doing the same thing to my car too. I also used the vynil fabric paint too and it came out nice. I'm still working on mine right now. Just need to get the seats, belts and carpet replaced. Hope to see your finished interior soon.

I would have gone for some 2k2 seats. I love the seats in my 2k2 G20 Sport. Just like IS300 seats and a lot of people think they are custom. You also stay planted in your seat unlike leather where you slide around.
