Men Without Hats

Just went and bought myself a brand new copy of Men Without Hats - Greatest Hats.

Went into MusicWorld, and the guy greets me. I'm thinking, "This guy looks like he doesn't care what people think of him....somebody I'd get along with." Anyways, I go and find a sole copy of the CD, and take it up to the counter (wearing an Atari shirt at that ). The guy is like "NO WAY! I didn't even know we had this...I've got this album on record, it's like my favorite album!" I was like "Sweet."

Get out to my car and pop it in my CD player and just start blaring it. Pull up at a light (with my windows down) and this 25ish looking guy pulls up beside me, gets this intrigued look on his face, turns his own music off, starts smiling, and gives me the nod

Later on, just pulling away from a red light these three jailbait hotties on the sidewalk start waving and cheering, LOL The reactions of people to the music are great!

Anyways, this is by far one of the best CD's I've heard in a long time...definitely recommend it to anyone!

i like some of their stuff. i have a soft spot for most (read again: MOST, not all) '80s/early '90s music. if it has a good reaction, then why the hell not? hehe.

you and your Men Without Hats, Mark. where'd you get the Atari shirt? i want one...

Venice Beach, California

That was back before everybody got one then and I didn't want to wear mine anymore, lol. I think Bluenotes was carrying them for a while, that's where most people got them.

I think the 80's are coming back

I gotta get a jean jacket.

Its inevitable. Those of us who were teenagers then will bring it back just as those from the seventies just did it the last decade.

The 80s was the coolest decade. The 90s just sucked like a $2 whore.

It disturbs me to think that you are probably making an informed comparison.
