Filthy, filthy snow

Only on here for 2 seconds.

Well, been couch surfing my way to snow riding glory in the town of Jindabyne (30km from the fields) and skiing at PB.

Tis now Tuesday, just before I head out.

Friday was a quick 5.5 hour drive down from Sydney, followed by a couple of quiet 'sleep aids'.

Saturday was blue skies all around and about a 1.1m base groomed to perfection with fresh stuff through the trees.

Sunday was much trhe same, with the notable difference being the improvement in my technique after about 7 beers.

Monday was OK, with weather starting to move in around 2pm and continuing to snow overnight until now. 12cm of fresh reported.

All in all, around 20 cones, 40 drinks and a dud root reallyt maketh teh ski holiday.

Prehaps if you hadnt been so wasted Oz you might have been better able to preform (and Im not talking about your bording skills

Thanks for the support OT! Still going hard. Skiied in Elephant Cu m yesterday (slowest, wettest snow EVER!). Weather has come in from now until I go in 5 days. Feeling the effects something evil

No worries Tangie. The current aresenal is:

115cm Leki Poles (deposit)
120cm Rossignol Poles
178cm Salomon X-Screams (deposit - coming VERY soon)
177cm Rossignol Cut 10.4 with Salomon Equipe 520 bindings
198 Rossignol Bandit X. Need bindings, but coming out tomorrow. BIG MOUNTAIN ski.
195 Salomon Force 3S straight ski's without bindings
28.5 Dalbello PRX8 Boots

Need to sell some gear ASAP. Although I have every condition covered.

On another note, 3 days to go. Today was -6c with another -20 wind chill. Every chair closed on wind hold - because of gusts around 100-150 km/h. The flip side of that was skiing in 60cm of fresh pow all day. And should be a total of around 1.3m of fresh by Saturday lunch.

Having a sick time, still fucked off my face. 'Met' a 28yo Blonde Ski Instructor from Breckenridge CO, originally from OH at the bar last night. Twas quite teh pick up. This is her at the bar:
