Creaking, squeaking 2000 Grand Caravan
I have this problem going over bumps and dips and even turning onto another road. Definitely coming from front end. Is this a sway bar bushing problem? Anyone know what it costs to have them replaced?

Yep, it could be. Does the car rock easily from side to side when you turn? As for price call your local part stores and ask for prices.

2000 's do have problems with squeeks from the front end. To verify the noise, spary wd40 or similar lubricant in the stablizer bushings. If noise disappears, replace the bushings. They get hard over time. Do you hear the noise after driving in the rain? If not theny more than likely its the bushings.
The bushing are $14 x 2 and the labour is about an hour. Good Luck.

Are you doubly sure it's the front end?
I had this problem (embarassing): it turned out one of the back bench seats wasn't fully secured and was squeaking. It only happened over bumps and around corners. |
