Prices are becoming cheap

Matt Hoffman 2 $9 at Target

Baulder's Gate $12 at Target

Ominusha 2 $9 at Best Buy

X-Box games, Sega Soccer Slam and others for $7.50 at Target. Other X-box titles include Hollywood Stunt Drive $12 and Turok $9.

Gamecube, Madden 2003 $5, yes you read that right.

Anyone who has been buying games over the last couple years knows these prices are impressive. Some of the games are actually good. None of the prices listed are for used games. They are all brand new.

I am sure that stores a making way for the new crop of October-December holiday releases of new games. I think this will be a record holiday season for the video game industry, despite the economy. There are more video game systems in homes around the world then ever before. I just wish games like Halo, Super Smash Bros Melee, and other top games would finally come down the $20 level. Most of the top games still stand at $40-$50 each.

My point here is, if you have not checked for bargins lately, get out there and look. Beware, some of the cheap games are crap, but many games are worth $9. Circuit City, Target, Toys'r'Us and Best Buy are the stores where I have found most of the deals.

Some of the prices listed above are from Ads that are over or clearance prices found at my local stores. I am sure prices will vary. Watch the ads and stop by the stores to find the deals.

Vectorclub, Im sure you would know the answer to my question, which has somewhat to do with what you discuss here. You and I Im sure both know how Sony PS2 games have a "greatest hits" list for games that reach a certain number sold and then become the low price of $20 bucks for the rest of their game lives, but does XBOX have a "list" such as this going?

Yeha they are called Platinum Hits or something like that, I know this b/c thats how I got RalliSport so cheap

For the week of July 20th Traget has X-Box Platinum hits for $16 each. That is not a bad price. I just wish Halo would finally come down in price!!!
