Any experience with bags?
What are peoples experiences running an air-bag system on their cars? And how much did you pay?

I've installed one for a friend on his 97' Chebby truck. The results are wonderfull! The truck rides very nice (and sits lower too), he added effects on the sides, front, and back and when he parks illegaly (often), he lowers the truck until the effects meet the ground (so noone can tow it away). I don't know exactly how much he paid for them, but I'd say only install them on a car/truck you intend on keeping for a long time

There are many different types of airbags for cars, so its kinda hard to tell you how much a kit will cost. Look for kits like Blowjax, which is an airrod. I like the airrod becuase you dont have to worry about puncturing the bags that way. Look in Lowrider Euro magazines and Minitruckn magazines there are tons of companies in there that sell are bag kits for hondas.
Heres a couple links to get your started: Chasis Tech AIM Industries

Bags give a smoother ride and let you sit lower then usual.
What ever you do please try and stay away from purchasing a kit from AIM industries. They have the tendency of sending you a kit with either missing parts or for the wrong car, in which you have to pay to ship back and for more shipping. But if you choose to order from them, this was just a fair warning. |
