D-series engine swap

Does anyone know anything about D-series engines? Like a d16z6? I know it only has 125 hp, but I heard it's really cheap. What kind of price could I expect for one? Does it have any potential?

of course they're sooo cheap like $500 (engine & tranny), just remember when you buy a vtec engine and you don't have one you have to change your ecu and maybe harness too or use a vtec controller.

Thanks, man. I'd probably just go with a b18 though, if the d-series is 500 bucks. This dude just got a b18 complete swap for 750.

Or the installation labor of it for that matter. Usually turnkey (installed and ready to run) for a B18 is about $2500-$3000. $750 would only cover installation itself at pretty much most shops.

Only thing I can think of other than BS, is maybe it came off a dirt cheap 2nd or 3rd gen Teg, and the owner installed it themself...

I got it from a local shop and the reason why its so cheap cause my buddy is teh general manager their. So the complete swap was 750$ and the installation is 250$. To most people it runs around 400$ but he gave me a big discount. Plus i agreed to put a sticker on my car for his shop . The engine has 30k miles on it. Its a Integra Ls so that is 94+ year(I think :P).
