Talking Package Update

Well a little letter came in the mail today.

Sorry we missed you! We Redeliver for you!

They will be delivering it to my house On Monday or I can go pick it up at the USPS..thats why it was so late. Austin (slammed89civic) dude I am so sorry that I kept on bothering you about it..I owe you a big apology.

When I got this letter I started jumping up and down, got so excited I stubed my toe and hit my hand agaisnt the wall..all out of pure excitment..hell..these things are going on as soon as I get them..taking them to a shop of course. How long does it take for a shop to put them on?

I am soooo HAPPY!!!

alright cool..now I have some more questions, I know that the further I drop my car the rougher the ride..so what would be a good drop on my car with the stock rims? Also what is the average cost to install coilovers? Or is it a large varied range of prices.

Totally depends on your area... two hours labor - whatever your shops charge / hour.

I say just goto PepBoys and rent a spring compressor and do it yourself. Should take you an hour per wheel for a n00b.

Unless you get a camber kit, dont go below 2 inches

tell your parents that they are morons then there is nothing better than doing your own work when you can, for one it saves a helluva lot of money and two you learn so much and understand the car a whole lot better.

all i can say is thank god i started working with cars when i was like 4 haha, i love it, i dunno what i'd do if i couldn't do my own work on my car... guess i'm kinda fortunate in that... i don't think there is any part of my car that i haven't had torn apart at one point in time or another. one of these days i'll break down and go get a degree for it... maybe try to get on a race team! That'd kick ass
