Question Which would be a better "Sleeper?"

My car right now has a huge ass key mark down both sides of it and the paint is faded. My funds are limited right now and i'm getting a b16 in it in a couple weeks. Do you think i should just sand it down and primer it or keep it keyed with the faded paint?

There was a primered Del Sol around here that some people laughed at until they seen it run mid 13's.

Im kind of in the same position, but its rust, and ive never done this before...

i was wondering. Should i just sand down the surface rust and when i primer it, only primer the spots? OR should i sand down and primer the entire fender to keep it all monotone...not mostly gloss finish with primer spots.

yes, ive seen PICS of many cars completely primered or whatever, but i have no fear of having my car completely primered. I think it looks good. I have never EVER seen a primered car around here.

Dont let others define what you do. Just do it for yourself and youre ok.

if money is THAT tight buy an airless sprayer and a bucket of white auto paint and hardner, it'll look way better an cost minimal, plus white is way cooler in traffic than primer

here's true sleeper style, sand down the section around the scratch and primer that section only... ghetto-fabulous
