Repainting and Window Tint

I know that I have been asking a lot of questions but please stick with me.
Could somebody give me an estimate on how much it would cost me to paint my car and get the windows tinted?
The green is ugly in my opinion and I think a nice blacked out car will suite my tastes.
My mom is paying for it for my b-day but I would still like to have an idea about how much it will cost.

macco paint jobs r about $500, but they aren't the highest quality out there. some show cars have paint jobs over $3000, but i think that's outa your mom's budget. a nice paint job can be about $1000-$1500. just call up local paint shops, ask to see some of their work, see how their feedback is. if u like it, go for it.

oh and window tint. idk bout that, b/c i have friends that can get it cheap for me ($40 a window). so u'll just have to look around, just like for the paint job.

paint can be one of the more expensive investments in your vehicle..... if you wanna spice up the stock paint, put some vinyl graphics on, its relatively cheap and easy.
I cant tell you how many people i see around my neighborhood with do-it-yourself tinted windows, and no matter what, they all look like crap, so take it to a professional.......

Yeah I was planning to get the tinting done by a proffesional.
My sister had one of those do-it-yourself tints and after a few months it was bubbling and crap.
I just want a simple paint job, blacked out,with maybe some red detailing to spice it up.
