How do I remove this piece of the dash?
I've seen the part that I'm am about to post painted alone. I was just wondering how to take the piece off so that I can paint it. It is the yellow painted piece on the dash that is against the windshield.

honestly, you are better off masking the bottom section off and then painting the upper section. most people do this. that section is not only screwed to the lower section, but also glued on with the epoxy from hell. this stuff is absolutely impossible to melt, extremely difficult to cut, its actually stronger than the plastic. i took my dash completely apart and rewrapped everything, but ended up breaking the upper section, and had to glue it all back together before i could wrap it.
the bezel for the guages is easier. just take the guage hood off, then push all the tabs in that hold the plexiglass cover on, and the bezel will pop out.heres mine
