The MAP Sensor should work on the B16A. Most all Honda/Acura Map Sensor on the older cars look the same to me and should all work.

if you look at the ECU maps, you will find out that the MAP sensor is the #1 most important sensor in the whole car. The entire fuel and timing map depends on a precise reading from the map sensor, and if its damaged, the car will run like dog poo.

...maybe I missed something... (pretty typical) .. did you get a new engine or get the old one running?

all the ED chassis cars use the same part number for the map sensor. from what ive found, the DA chassis integra has a different part number for its map sensor. its the one im going to be running in my hatch when i finish rebuilding.

the integra has a different map sensor becuase it is mounted on the firewall, as are 88-91 civic/CRX. the later cars, mostly OBD1 + have the MAP sensor mounted right on the top of the firewall.
