posers

What up fellas? I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. I've been reading a little on this forum and it "seems" there is a problem of posers...I don't know because on the internet u can be whatever u want to be and arguing with a person u can't look in the eyes is pointless....to me. To be honest with u guys I don't know ANYTHING about the drift scene in America. I discovered drifting in Japan and I haven't been to the states for a long time but let me tell u how we deal with posers over here in Japan, beleive u me there are a lot of posers here(Americans and Japanese alike)....we ignore them or if u are the outgoing type pull there chump card. I ask them when was the last time YOU'VE been out or something like "I was out last night, where were u?" . At first they'll murmur some incoherent bullshit like they do there best but eventually they HAVE to admit that they are posers. Beleive me it works. I did it twice last week! I'm getting a bit long winded but I must complete my thoughts,be patient with me please... My best friend, who is an American, is part of a Japanese drift team(not a small feat considering Most Japanese drifters believe only they are blessed with the skills to drift a vehicle) anyway when I began, his team leader ,who is known all over Northern Japan as the Driftking(mind u he did not give himself that name, he's just that damn good!!), the bastard would not acknowledge my presence! I would talk to him and he would ignore me! I hated him at first, but I soon realized this was HIS way of dealing with posers. When I started to get skillz he started to open up. Now I can't get the little bastard off my back! We tight now! But to wrap it up,two words to say to internet posers....POST PICS .....

When I first joined this forum I was mauled! I was accused of photoshopping my car. I was appalled. I hope this paronoia about posers can slow down. Real drifters stop doing this... F**ck 'em! Drift on! Here are some pics of some my Japanese homies doing what they do best! PEACE to the real players and death to the fakers!!

They got Toyota Chasers. tricked out!

Yeah, those Nissan volks are pretty wacky wacksters. Flat black? You know a good "color" when you see one - beautiful in the same manner as an oxidized Trabant P601 - pure style.

What's up Chris I hear that the cops don't bother y'all too much down south. They just run us off but every now and then thy start arresting folk. But u know Japanese cops don't like paperwork
I checked out your site I see u guys have a track nearby. Unfortunately the closest track to Misawa is three hours away. U a engine troop huh? I use to be a crewchief on 117's and f-16's. That was a long time ago though.

---Nah, Okinawan cops are very lazy, when we go out we usually stay at a spot till the cops drive up and chase us away, then we move on to the next. I did get a ticket the other day in my wifes Skyline, the Pig told me i looked like Boso, because my wifes car had wide wheels. $70 ticket for illegal modification, sucks. We have a couple tracks and alot of good roads over here to slide, I've been TDY to Misawa before for two days, partied offbase, got REALLY drunk on Habu Sake and woke up with a small tree in my bed. don't remember how that happened, haha. Yeah, I'm a TurboProp Mechanic on the C-130's now, but i'm getting out of the military in a couple months. staying here on Oki, never leaving. Finding a SOFA job is a pain in the ass though
