Lightbulb NEW PROJECT ON THE WAY... NISSAN DATSUN TURBO VIOLET...18", pics progress............

Hi,
new kit starting yesterday......

NISSAN DATSUN TURBO VIOLET (i think 70's years...) If someone have a web site or some real picture of this car, i will appreciate.....

Kit made by NICHIMO..... not very details but i like the general car.....wide body.....
This is the box....

The wheels from the box (dark and very small... ).

The stok wheels on the body......

The new one from a PORSCHE GT2 in 18" with slik....

The all muffler or exhaust is molded on the chassis (frame)....Not for my taste....

I decided to removed it..... and create a new exhaust.

The end of the muffler...

The chassis or frame with new muffler is already....

The body on the wheels after lowering....

Thanks to your feedback and maybe some pictures of the real car.....

Laurent from FRANCE....

It's weird. It's classic. It's getting proper attention to all of the details....

I LOVE IT!!!

this is a great kit and the work you have done so far is quality... BUT... i do not understand why people insist on these ugly rice mufflers and big rims on these great older car kits. i would love a kit like this... but to me alot of people butcher these things. why cant anyone tune a car to what was available in that period. it seems like no one knows that companies back then like EMPI made bigger rims and better looking exhaust that look great on kits like this. and of course to each his own but i love those stock wheels and would pay alot for a set of scale wheels like that. anyhow muffler mod is done very well but it just isnt right for this model. if anything use an oval collector with dual tips. and ive got a bunch of scale EMPI rims that are 16". any how the work is quality and i would like to see some other work of yours.

ANSWERS.....

Hi,
thanks for your reply and help with some pictures also....
Sorry for the wheels stock but i don't like and they are very spmall....I know that i prefer some large size....and maybe it will be built like EURO STYLE.... (muffler as you see...)...
I know that a lot of people don't like this modifications....but It's just my idea.....nobody is perfect......but the taste of each of us is very personal......

See you soon.....

Laurent
