Question speedometer problem

Dose anyone know were the speed sensor in a 96 accord is and how
hard is it to change

My speedometer went out and I am trying to locate the problem

have you checked cable?

speed sensor is on top of transmission toward firewall, probably 3"-6" to the left from engine.

Is your check engine lite on, if the vss went bad the ecu won't get a signal and the engine lite will come on if it didn't its probably not the problem
