truck sputters
I'm an idiot when it comes to fixin vehicles, so I thought I might ask some of you guys what you think of my situation before I go spend hard cash on a diagnostic test.
My truck seems to shake a bit when i start up and it shakes quite a bit when I hit 40mph at the the gear change I believe. It is automatic and I did have the transmission worked on a month ago or so. I do have an odor that to me smells like gas or something maybe burnt not sure. It seems to shake only when I give it gas and I am getting poor gas mileage. If anyone has any ideas as to what this might be, so I can check it myself I would appreciate it. Thanx |

hey,
Check out your timing, it sounds like the engine is misfiring because of timing, also check your plugs, faulty plugs will do the same. Dodge's have a problem with engine timing so I'd bet that is the problem. -Robert Page [email protected]
