99 Grand Prix DRL
I have a 1999 Grand Prix and noticed the other day the Daytime Running Lamps are not working. The headlights work if I turn them on with the switch and when the night sensor kicks in, but the DRL's do not work (both the headlights and the side lights). I checked all fuses and they are all ok, but I did notice when I put the DRL fuse back in there was a click on the other side of the car around the headlight switch.
My guess is a relay? Any ideas? I don't need to fix it I don't believe because the headlights work, but sometimes one problem leads to another. I don't know the wiring or the relays for the newer cars, but I still think it is probably something easily fixed. Let me know if you think of any other quick tests to see other than buying a new part and trying each one.

Solved, I think
If you open your driver driver you will see an access panel on the side of the dash. When you remove this and look downward toward the parking brake you will see a box-shaped, heat-sink looking device - similar to a mini-amp. This is likely where your problem lies. Either the cable on it has become detached (this is how most people disable their DRLs) or there is some conduction issue.
