Project: Lightning~!! not my usual build

This is one I have on the table right now, I received it for free since my friend had no where to store it and wanted it built nice. I have not built a truck in years and this is where I first started learning how to lower and customize models. The truck is riding on 22s pulled from a side winder truck kit, the color will be Testors lime gold and I am trying to decide at the moment how custom the body will actually be. I am almost done with everything but the outside so i have to decide quick what I want to do to the body, any suggestions??? I don't really know this truck that well so I have no idea yet what to do.

I am trying a new upload tecnique so I hope this works!>?

IMO i think you should cut out that fake front grill...and those rims look sweet on that truck.

The grille will come out before I paint the truck, I also love the wheels on this truck. I used some tires off some other random wheels I had because they stretch so nicely around the wheels and look so good (the original tires are plastic with molded in flames and look very)

I am not sure yet what color I will choose for the wheels since I am not a fan of the chrome, more progress will happen this weekend though and I will have more pics posted by next week.

Here is a teaser of the Chassis, this is the same color the body will be but I have not yet been inspired as far as customizing the body. I may just leave it stock but that is hard for me to do.

I just found a way to upload w/o burning a CD so here goes!

I will have more progress on this soon but I may not post until I have some body work done. Does anybody know off any body kits I can use for reference or inspiration on this truck????

That looks amazing!! Some ideas for customizing the body would be to chop the top, giving it a sleeker looker, you could rehinge the tailgate and/or hood.
