sr question

is the sr20VET a good invesment insted of the usual sr20det and whats the difference ?

Dorikin : is there a way to make it fit ? or just put the VET head on the DET

no. unless you want 4wd. then you need muchos deneros. but if you were to go 4wd, why not an rb26dett from a gtr?

side note, the s14-15 sr20 has vvt.

im pretty sure there was a thread about thios before with alot more information. go search under 240sx forums the title "sr20vet" and im sure youll find it.

yeah the V in SR20VET is just Variable Valve Lift (VVL). like TheLogikal1 said, the S14 and S15 SR's had VVT, different than the VVL. But yeah, like the others said, it won't fit due to the 4wd tranny. The SR20VET is the first turbocharged engine to use both VVL and VVT.
