all wheel drive mk2

ive been looking and looking and i cant find anything or anyone with info on allwheeldrive transmission conversions on the mr2 2nd gen i was wondering would anyone know any info on this subject matter or a web site that could help me out ?

There is such a thing as an AWD Celica (same motor as the MR2)

The MR2 is not designed to be AWD and it would change the entire driving characteristics of the car if you could possibly make it so....

So the conversion would have the all have custom fabrication or parts from other cars modified heavily to make the conversion work? Sounds like a cool idea though...a bit safer in the winter than a regular mid-engine.

Wouldn't it also be one of the only mid-engine awd cars. I think the new Lambo is, but that's the only other I know of.

several newer porsches too, or is that rear engine and not mid?

if any finds anythign relating to awd conversion please let me know, i will be starting on conversion as soon as i finish all the plans.. i am 50% thru it already, tranny.. drivetrain, body mods, just havent thought to much on the front end, i have realized it will take alot on that part... so i will be purchasing a shell and working from there.. any thoughts on the front end would be greatly aprecciated
