Bolt Broke Off Please Help!
Hi,
I tried takin my LX alternator and putting it on my new SI engine. I just found out that the alternator adjusting bolt mount had been broken off inside of it. So you cant use a new bolt cause it threaded in there. I also cant just pound it out cause the threads. So I dont know what to do. THanks

if i understand the problem, you should be able to drill into the center of the broken bolt and use a stud extractor (couple bucks @ any hardware store)

Or if there's a bit stickin' out, you can use a center punch on the edge of the bolt and slowly tap it out with a hammer.
