How Much Primer Should I Use?
I am going to use Duplicolor for the first time, and I was wondering how manu coats of primer should I use? Should the coats be thick, or light?

Never thick, use light misting coats at first then a few heavier coats, make sure you don't cover up the details of the body, scripts and so on. Usually between 3 to 4 coats works for me

wait until it tacks up a bit ( feels sticky), time is really not a good measure as the drying process depends greatly on the weather
I am in a very dry climate and I can recoat in 20 minutes or less BTW check out the How to and FAQ section , I know Primera man has some great stuff out there. I believe he posted another Painting how to just last week |
