how do i disable my DTL light system?

Nice to see you guys~~
I have installed zmaxHID kit in my car while ago...
one of my friend installed for me but somw how it was flickering every time when I start my car(I got daytime running light system in my car).

I called the store where I got this kit from and they said it is the DTL system that makes my light flickers at the startup.
Now I turn my light on before I start my car and have no problem so far.... but some times I forget to turn the light on (guess I've got used to the DTL).
Any one knows how to turn DTL system off for 98 corolla?
