KILL STOIES!?!?! mustangs please!?!?
i brought this up bevcause i killed a 2000 camaro z28 and i was in my friends 1999 mustang gt but it was supercharged and very light for the year he had a k&n air filter and a bbk headers and bbkhigh flow pipes we started at the green light and we gunned it and i shifted 2 second but i missed it he started up on me a half a car lenghth 2 1 car lenghth and i shifted 2 secong got up on him and zoomed by and did i menchon i it was for 500 dollars i kicked his ass slit the money with my friend it was his car and had 2 be one of my favourite race stories missing second for 500 dollars and coming bacxk 2 beat him about half a car lenghth!?!?!?!?1?!??!?!

the guy in the z28 must have been a shitty driver. a stock 99 GT gets what, 14.5.... a supercharger takes off nearly a second, so that puts you about head to head with a stock z28. assuming this guy has zero mods to his car and said he can take anyone, then the race should have been even. but you missed second, and still beat him? did this guy know you were racing?

Don't you know? A popular conception amongst LS1 owners is that their cars are invincible.
A Mustang cannot beat an LS1. Simply cannot happen. Please refer to this guide if you're a Mustang owner that thinks you may have beaten an LS1. #1 The LS1 cannot be beaten. #2 All Mustangs are stock. #3 All LS1s run mid/high 12s bone stock from the factory. #4 Even the 03 Cobra is a mid 13 car. #5 The LS1 was not racing. #6 The LS1 was parked. #7 The LS1 was just playing with you. #8 The LS1 was actually a V-6 with Z28 badges. #9 The LS1 was actually an LT1, which can only be beaten by an LS1. #10 The race does not count because it ended before 160mph. #11 The race does not count because it did not start from a roll. #12 The race does not count because the LS1's passenger was performing oral on the driver. #13 The race does not count because the LS1 was not properly tuned. #14 If you still feel your Mustang may have beaten an LS1, please see #1. My apologies to the LS1 owners out there that actually know what they're talking about.

I was heading into town the other day and a black FOX body was following me...when I turned I saw the pretty Saleen stripes on the side so I smiled. He kept following me so the next stop sign I went vroom and so did he. I got up to about 130 then started seeing cars coming up so I let up...of course he was truckin right up to my ass probably going 140 or so. We get to a stop light and I hear his supercharger whistling away...I ended up pulling over and talking to him for awhile. Pretty cool guy. Good thing I had a head start...he would have eaten me up. Was good fun though

Unit 5302, Im saving that for future referances!! I guess the guy doesnt know that you can also run 12s in a GT without FI,.. and with only 250rwhp!! Achieving 12's is no huge feat with a great launch. A GT with the potential of running a 13.8 with a 2.0sec 60ft goes to a 13 flat car with a 1.6-1.7sec 60ft.
The speed density fox cars have run 12's with the stock heads/cam/intake as well. Headers, H pipe, dumps, 4.10s, 4 banger springs, electric fan, iced intake, CAI, drag radials or ET streets, and you're knockin on the 12 second door. It's just about what you want to sacrifice for it. A 1.6 60ft will drop nearly a full second off the best run with a 2.0 60ft time. That being said, the 12sec stock engined 5.0 or 4.6 is going to get killed on the freeway. By any car trapping 105mph+

Hey unit that is great that you put that post on here. The funny thing is that it is so true. I had two guys on my college baseball team this past year, and they absolutley refused to admit that a mustang could beat them. No matter what it was, (well they did finaly admit that the 03 Cobra would take them but that was after some discussion)!! But yeah the one guy (00' Z28) lost to a 96 Cobra once, but that was because he "missed" third gear ,but it was still close you know. Then the other guy (01 Z28 with all his air done, and everybolt on), he has a ton of stuff done to his car so I have to say it is pretty mean, but even at that we ran them at a stop light and I got atleast a car on him off the line. He of course caught me and them proceeded to pass me rather quickly, but when we stopped he was like oh as soon as it turned green my phone rang and I had to pick it up. I was like just admit I atleast beat you off the line but he still refuses to. So I appreciate that it gave me a good laugh and I can see them saying that stuff now!!
