Terms of Sale
this car is to be sold as parts only. i have no clue on how to register it so dont even ask. you could either register it on your own, use it as parts, or a race car or show car. the vin provided in the auction is not correct. it is a japanese vin that wouldnt work with ebay so i had to provide another one NOT GOOD IMO

Hmm... I didn't know that... the USDM Si's have a sunroof though... Still seems fishy to me if he's not posting the VIN number.

Eg. A 4th gen SiR Civic will be "EF9-1234567" EF9 being the model and the 7 digit number is: the first two digits are the model year, and last 5 are the production number. For example when used JDM cars are imported here to New Zealand, they are fitted with a standard international VIN number, in order to be registered for use on the road. So the Japanese ID number will be fairly useless to you. (other than when buying parts) |

how do you know for sure you cant register the car? from what I have researched if he has the bill of sale and registration from japan or pink slip. along with the paper work of the company that imported the car you can register the car as a Kit Car but thats only if you have all of the paper work. It can be done. I have a RHD crx that I am working on, I didnt have any of the paper work so I had to resort to other means
Ill post pics of when the car when its done, which will hopefully be in a couple of weeks. Ohh im in cali aswell.

You have to remember that there was a SiR and SiR II in the EF series. Also that you could even option in the LSD and Anti-lock brakes etc. Cheers |

Oh, and the "Mugen mid wing" is bullshit - Honda made it as an option and suckers pay too much for it

With the flare, all domestic Japanese cars are required to have them, there is most likely a small plastic clip bracket where it would have been (unless it has been removed as well), left wall of the front passenger footwell just below the glovebox.
Here in NZ they are all removed when the cars enter the country (they have been made illegal), there was a big problem a few years back where kids decided to play with them and a few cars got incinerated. |
