240sx with rb25-how much are they worth

How much would you be willing to pay for a 240 with complete working rb25det installed and all the electronic components included. (30k on engine; 100k on car)

I can get them from a friend of mine for around 7000 and just want to know if i could make a profit.

Always remember supply and demand.

In addition to which is the condition of the car itself. the health of the transplanted engine and because it is a fairly in depth swap, the quality in which the swap was performed...

Other questions to ask to qualify the value of the car:

what year car
was a new clutch installed
What kind? a good aftermarket with upgraded Flywheel, or did he just slap in the OEM JDM clutch that came on the donor engine. how are the engine mounts? did they need to be fabed? if so, were they done well, does the engine sit in the bay correctly? or does it bind?

Most importantly, how much is someone WILLING to pay
How much are you willing to pay?
IS it a motivated Seller
if so, why, what is wrong with the car?

well you get the point... if you are going to buy or consider buying something like this you need to be as objective as possible.

theyre mostly early s14s with maxed out miles on the old engine and just had the swap done. I rode in his latest and it pulls pretty hard. Think i might just wait and work on my own project tho.

ok....usually doing swap decreases the price on the car. no matter what you do or say it should decrease the price. the only reason people inflate the price is 1) they have to cover their ass cuz it was too expensive 2) they will find suckers out there not willing to do the swap themselves 3) it is kinda rare but in recent months becoming more and more common. the most i would ever pay for a RB25 into any 240 would be about 5g. anything higher i would walk.
