Integra vs 1.8T

I good car for college but of course i like to go fast. Right now i have a honda accord but i want to get something a little sportier/faster and upgradable. I was thinking either the Jetta 1.8T or an Integra. If i got the jetta it would have to be the newer 180 HP 2002-2003 model which would cost a little more but about the same as a 2000-2001 GSR integra.
I like the idea of a turbo 1.8T the N/A acura is tempting too? i know this is the integra forum and you will all just love the integra but i was wondering if anyone has any expierence with both of these cars or anything as far as pros and cons of each. I have been on google and searched so about as much as anyone who can search the internet can know. Thanks for you help.

B4 i bought my Acura I went to the VW dealership and test drove the 1.8T's they are quite a bit faster than a stock GSR but at the same time the 1.8T's are more expensive and harder to soup up. Its all personal preference I love my Teg but I'm sure I would've loved the 1.8T the same they both are great cars its all up to you.

I didn't mean physically harder to soup them up. I only meant that they are a little bit harder and more expensive to find parts to soup them up. Or at least here in SC they are.

What? That was pretty stupid of you to say. How does that make someone a ricer by owning an integra? thats why i hate vw owners. They talk too much shit. Anyways back to the teg. I would say its all up on you. Both cars have good potential but if it was me i'd get the teg cause i think they look better.
