This is basically quoted from what Jim Rome said during his radio show yesterday(July 14). And today on my way home I found out that the Judge found in favor of Deion so he doesn't have to pay the mechanic. I HATE DEION SANDERS!!! Always have and always will especially after this. I'm sorry but this "Jesus told me to only pay $1500" is so fucking phony its ridiciulous!! Jesus would say to be fair and to be fair would be to pay what you owe, especially if you have Deion cash. Deion is a worthless piece of shit and so is the judge for finding in favor of him. Jim Rome also went on to say "If the shoe were on the other foot and the owner of The Cowboys said Deion "Jesus told me to only pay you half of the amount you were told you'd be getting he be furiuous" This is kind of a stress relief as well as just to see what yall think.

However, I have not seen the lawsuit. I would find it pretty amazing that anyone would take a claim of "jesus only told me to pay xyz" seriously. I have a suspicion that the quote was taken out of context.

wait a second.....if i'm not wrong but in the US sytem if a juge decides something not previous in the law it becomes law (or something like it) by creating a precedent.....so doesn't that just make it legal for anyone to claim the same thing

i heard it on the radio and from what i understand this is how it went:

Deion told the mechanic b4 he started working that "Jesus" said it was no more than $1500 to get what he needed fixed. Well after the mechanic finishes the job it comes up to $4XXX. Deion refuses to pay b/c he said "Jesus" said it would cost no mre than $1500. So the judege ruled in favor od Deion b/c he basically told the mechanic that he's paying mo more than $1500 for it....that ment that the mechanic should have did $1500 worth of work or should have refused the job

And when we actually start digging deeper, we find out that Jesus is actually Sander's Mexican gardener and the conversation went:

Sanders: "Hey Jesus, stop clipping that tree and come here a minute"
Jesus: "Yez Meester Sawnders?"
Sanders: "How much do you think I should pay to get my car fixed Jesus?"
Jesus: "Ooohh.....I dunno Meester Sawnders, mebbe my cousin, he fix it for $1500?"
Sanders: "Sounds reasonable, thanks Jesus"
Jesus: "He, no probleem Meester Sanders"

So now, if you have a gardener named Jesus you're set

The religion and money thing....what you were talking about....I was simply stating that you don't want to start that debate here, this is politics and world affairs, religion is a different kettle of fish altogether, even though it does have bearing here....

I don't see why Religion should have any baring at all on such a case.
Taking up the side of Deion sanders and allowing the idiotic statement that Jesus told him only to pay 1500 is absurd.
Its making a farce out of monetary transactions. If all people started doing this it would lead to chaos.
