haha i told him that the other night.

nokya arctic whites are still blue, hella. with a 9005-9006 conversion (saw it on my friends 96 gsr)
them purples really suck in light.

go HID like i told u and let me borrow it haha. even if u find bulbs u like and do a conversion or something they may go out later. nokya are 35 at cheapest and then they blow out...i know u spent over 3 bills on lights...so get hid homie.

Your 9006 Spark Blues were shitty? This is concerning. I was just about to get some 7500K spark h1's for the projectors I just got. But if you say output from them was bad, then I'll rethink it. Same 7500K output?

The Spark Blue 7500k are very good for coloration, but in retrospect. they are about 60% less output onto the road than a stock bulb. you wont see the ground good at all.. i am happy with the look but im gonna need to let em go because i like to drive fast and i need to see more than 10 feet infront of me.

Damn it all to hell!

I cant have my cake and eat it too. I guess I might just stick with the lights that came with the projectors and save a lil while for an HID kit. I'll just have to sit tight til September or so. Damn expensive parts.

I just don't understand this whole headlight thing. The brighter the output (7500K), the bluer the light, the less light gets through the bulb??? This Sux.

k, then il explain bout it here.

In standard halogen bulbs the color temperature is changed by a coating on the bulb whether its ION, Dichronic Filter or just plain blue paint, causes the light outputted to be a different color on the kelvin scale, althought its kinda a cheap immitation of you remove it its just normal halogen.. now with HID its a mixture of gasses, the Higher on the kelvin scale you go the less visibility you get, for instance on my spark blues, they light up signs farther than a average bulb. but on the ground you dont even know your lights are on, and when you do notice them theyre pale pale pale... so just because somthings 7500k doesnt mean its brighter at all! its actually alot more DIM.. i pesonally wouldnt waste that much on a dim light like i did, stick with anything between 4,000K and 5,000k for best visiblility and color.. sorry to smash your dream bulbs but i had them and i am being honest. hey i love them but they not bright enuf.

Ahhhh Sooo. So they get greater distance (which may give the illusion of brightness) but the light concentration is less.

Like thinning out paint just to cover a really large area.

Muchos Gracias. I'll look at some good ol 4700K's then.
