Well, you know that little blinking security light? Tap into that somehow...i know it blinks but when that comes on it means any door is open, or the trunk or the hood
.....maybe tap in behind the gauge cluster for the light that goes that shows a door ajar.

u r thinking along the right lines, that didn't even occur to me. It also blinks when the doors are closed until the alarm activates and blinks other times, that might confuse the alarm. The other idea I had was the opn door light in the guage cluster. It doen't get power when the car is off though and it is just a bulb, can;'t really splice a wire on to it.

Theres gotta be some wire that sends that door ajar signal when the car is off to the alarm so it knows when to go off
Heh...i dunno where it is tho. Probably some wire that goes to the anti-theft fuse blocks? Dunno??
