help me with my zc

i recently put a sohc 1.6l zc in my dx hatch, got the wiring professionally done, but something is going wrong. we have checked all the sensors, and the only bad one is the coolant temp sensor. but we can start the car fine it runs but it wont rev past 3000 or it starts to crap out and almost die. it seems like when u rev it high enough the distributor isnt firing right or something please help......

the only ecu code that is thrown is 6, coolant temp sensor
