which interior ?

In an other thread, someone tells :

"I doubt that anyone else would choose that interior... "

So, you folks, which interior did you choose ?

My first choice is this one :

And maybe the second choice, will be this one (the same than Ron Denis ) :

Gee - I wonder who said that??

Personally, my favorite interior is the one in the F1 LM - totally spartan, funcitonal items only, bare carbon everywhere, black suede on the steering wheel and side seat cushions with orange accents all aroung. It has a very aggressive and ultra-exotic appearance in my opinion.

Here's one of the best interior photos I've ever seen of the car.

If we're talking regular road car interiors, I'd like a variation on that Blue F1 HDF that sold at the Christie's Auction - replacing the brown sections of leather with a dark gray combonation.

Also - It's rather basic, but I find this to be rather inviting:

Good question - I'd be willing to bet it came from the interior buck or mock up that was used for customer fittings. There's no glass there and if you look closely, you can see the that there are a-pillar mounts for the mirrors which weren't seen on many production cars. Hard to be certain though - I think that the Clinic Model had that same interior, so maybe it's that car.

Well - I played with this in photoshop for a while, and it's not perfect, but it's a decent representation of how I would refit #011 if I was ever given the chance to own it.

Sorry , but the brown leather that was in there would make me

Try reversing the colour scheme so it's mostly cream with grey stripes/accents. Also, if you could change the grey to navy blue, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Could you try to make and post these two schemes?

Man - I wish you had asked when I still had photoshop open...

It took a little while but I reselected everything - probably not as well - and made up your two requests. The blue isn't really navy blue, but close enough. I wasn't sure if you wanted me to change the carpets either...

Here's the cream w/blue - looks pretty nice - reminds me of XP4.

...and here's the dark gray - I don't think this looks as nice as the blue - but it could be my colors. It was kinda hard to get a gray out of it.

Thanks for doing this. Cool stuff. I definitely like this scheme better. I think the darker blue looks better...the grey's closer to what would look best IMO. What do you think?

And yeah, you want navy carpets. Magnolia piping perhaps, but defintiely navy carpets. It would set the seats off better, make the interior look better coordinated, and hide the dirt better too. That cream would get discoloured in no time, no matter how careful you were with it. I should know...I bought a house with cream carpets. Talk about a bad decision!!! I think the dash would also have to be changed to a darker navy.

tell the colors you want and I or someone else, will do the job

You can also do it yourself , here is the photoshop file (2.5 Mb) It's not perfect, but good enough

Here is an example :

jkbon - that version you did looks very nice - and I'm not even a big fan of red.

tvrfreak - it's funny you mention your carpet and wishing you hadn't gone with a light color. The carpet in my house is navy blue and I hate it. It shows every little spec of anything that's on the floor. Two days after being vacuumed it looks like it needs to be done all over again. I guess you can't win...

if i'd have a mac, it'd be jet black. i'm not a fan of the hdf-kit, but the 069 in the museum is simply beautiful. i'd also blind the windows, and i want a cognac leather interior, same as #011. buth then the blue parts have to be black. The interior is definately the best i have ever seen in an F1. even better than the gtr and the roadcar i saw in london (i saw a roadcar, i'm an expert on things i've seen with my own eyes no hard feelings though peloton)
cognax is definately the colour to go with if you're having a deeeeeeep black car like 069.
can anyone photoshop that for me, i'd really appreciate it.

jkbon, als jij dat ff zou kunne doen zou dat heel erg fijn zijn (woon je in wallonie of vlaanderen, ben ik erg benieuwd naar als je dit leest, fijna avond)

rgrds en de groeten;-)
