which projectors?

I've seen projector headlights that say that they are for 88-89, 90-91, and 88-91. I have some used ones that I am looking at and they were off of an 89. I have a 91 and I am wondering if they will fit. I have emailed the guy about 6 times now and he has not responded. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that they're all the same... The ones I have were advertised as 88-91 CRX projectors, and I put them in my 1990 hatch.

ive owned both...the difference is the bracket, and nothing else. the black bracket on them has a different mount for the corner lens. the 90-91 has a white tab on the end that a screw goes into, as well as a slot for part of the corner light to go into. the 88-89 ones have two white (or grey, or even black) tab slots that the corner light snaps into.

i have lots of brackets lefts, some from 88-89, some from 90-91. lemme know which ones yours looks like, and what year your car is

So I will just have to swap my stock brackets to the 89 headlights and it will still fit on my car?

It's not 100% necessary, but if you don't, you'll have to dick around with your corner lenses to get them to stay in. When I put my projectors in, I didn't swap the brackets, but every time I get new corner lenses, I have to trim down the mounting arm in order for it to clear the edge of the headlight bracket. Also, had to drill a hole in the headlight bracket to accept a screw for the corner lenses.

All in all, I would highly recommend swapping the brackets. Will make life much easier in the long run.
