frontier engine

I have another question... I relize that other nissans have the KA24DE, i also relize that the Frontier (i think its the frontier) is super charged. Could i tear off the super charger and put it in my 240SX

fudge, it seems that the frontier with the supercharger is a different engine. Well anyway could I used a supercharger that is ment for a different car with a KA24DE

if you have the money and knowledge, you could put nearly any turbo on the ka, hell you could put a t-88 on a civic. I'd just stick with what's designed for it, it would save you a lot of time and trouble.

there have been a few guys before that said they were going to supercharge their KA, but I've never actually seen it done. I'm not going to say it's impossible, but it would definately cost way more than it's worth IMO.

I've considered doing the same thing... although I've decided to either sell the 240 and restore the RX-7 vert....
OR
do a crazy N/A tune with direct port to the 240...

Anyway, the frontier SC will work on the KA, but it would be a lot of work.... you would need to machine a difference adapting intake manifold, then fab up new bracketry to make the belts work..

Way too much work for the little gain you would get from it...

Making an old-school supercoupe S/C work on the KA would be alot easier, believe it or not, and... you could aftercool it.
